Subway

VERY unprofessional. VERY rude. VERY unhygenic. WORST subway I have visited in 38 states. They take EBT, so hot foods for homeless people who qualify. They would rather be rude and mess up your sandwich even if your paying in cash. But otherwise they target ANYONE who does not speak English and/or fit their description of what people should.

Not the best but a cheap food option that's still near the waterfront.

My sandwich artist really took her time to make sure I got the sandwich that was exactly as I ordered. Did it in a very timely fashion as well. Thanks again Joan!

The person taking my order messed up and instead of a sorry, I got a lecture on how if I want to order a breakfast item I must state "breakfast", I can't just say the name of the item. I have literally never had this problem at a Subway before. She also never asked any questions and just started putting stuff on my sandwich.

Good service and kindness

This subway is charging 5% SF Health Mandate tax, when the law in San Francisco states that employer can charge up to 4% to help pay for health insurance for 20 or more employees. This employer does not employ 20 or more employees and is charging this fee because it is close to the Piers and the tourist do not see or look at their receipts. This employer is illegally charging this fee on both levels: less than 20 employees and more then the 4% allowed.

Racist employee. Was waiting to get a sandwich, black gentleman was in front of me. He was nothing but friendly to employee. After he had left, the employee said to me in full earshot of another guest, "Black people make me nervous." I told him I no longer wanted the sandwich. I think I'll not get another Subway sub anytime soon.

Worst subway. Waited 10-13min to be helped and It was only one person in front of me. Then they forgot about my sandwich so I just walked out. First time I've have ever done that to a business. And they don't charge their gloves between sandwiches and hair nets arnt a thing here either.

Convenient location and staff is usually pretty cool. Great place for a snack. If your looking for a kinda quiet place to spend 15 minutes or so eating the atmosphere and people watching here can be a pick me up sometimes.🙂

It is Subway. It is fast food. Food is what you'd expect from any Subway. Service at this Subway is not good though.

Good

Downsized the sandwich selection and now my choice makes this Subway easy to get in & out. Plus that new Garlic Oil option is the best!

This place is pretty cool they let me chill for a while

Challenge mode: get these guys to serve you what you want in less that 25 minutes. The incompetence in this subway is astounding.

It's a subway. Normally not too crowded. Sometimes they have sketchy people here.

Very rudeThe lady was using the same gloves for every customer. It was making me uncomfortable so I politely asked her to change her gloves. She did. I. Noticed that her knife was very dirty to and I asked her to wash it. Then she got very mad and started yelling that if you want to eat vegetarian you should go home and eat. I was shocked by the rude behavior and told her that she was very impolite and left. She was also very inpatient as she was also getting really mad at a previous customer who asked her to change her cheese several times. In addition, the store was extremely filthy and the windows were very cloudy. This really saddens me as I have never had any bad experiences at a subway and we go there very often.

We were about to eat here, but there was a really dirty smelly homeless person sleeping and drooling at one of the tables. He was surrounded by his 10+ dirty bags. Sorry but I don't want to eat in this smell... And I don't want my food being prepared in this unhygenic environment.

t 4:14 am visit this subway and the worker began to insult me. necklace.this type of used should not be in this store. .me ran without me nothing... do you wonder which was the problem and he was insulting me...

I thought the reviews were lying. The worst subway ever.

This Subway happens to be better than most in the city at least you won't have a rat trying to eat the cookies at this restaurant

Staff is so slow I have been here for 30 minutes waiting to order because of how slow this place is.

Not all Subways are the same. This location in Kearney ave in San Francisco is the best I've tried. I always stop by when I am in the city.

The best Subway in town.

This was the first place I ate when arriving in San Francisco. It worked out perfectly as I was staying in the Hyatt Regency and this was attached to the hotel. You have to go outside to access it. I had a quick bite here in the outside eating area which give great views. This was just the place I needed to find so I could fuel up before heading out on a bicycle tour. The staff were freindly and service was quick.

Food was delicious

I avoid. Skimpy portions. Frustratingly rude and piss poor service, and the baking bread smells bad. Other than that...

Friendly staff. Food is average. ice machine out of ice most the time. But service is quick.

I was there to get a light sub because I was hungry. And as he was making my sub, a baby cockroach crawled out from the vegetables bin. And not only that but the person who was preparing my sub tried to swat it away, THEN PROCEEDED TO MAKE MY SUB WITHOUT CHANGING GLOVES OR ANYTHING.

Showed up at 10pm there was a sign on the door that said 30 min break..... Ok so I waited till 1045 lady walks up and says she does not feel like making a sub and closes the store down......... Ok....

Bit of a wait but food was good and outside seating was available.

Fast, courteous service, great food at an affordable price!

Had to wait for 15 mins for her to finish the first damn first sandwich..forecasted I'd be there for 45 mins (third in line), so I left. Also, there were flies floating around the food and homeless people hanging around

I like that I can put anything I want and healthy stuff on my sandwich love the Turkey avacado and the steak also

I give for the service the person who serves has a bad temper more when the person can not speak English very well until he shouts there was an elderly person who did not speak English very well like me and she very angry change the staff wrongly faced

Very dirty facility....cheese seems old and so does the bread.....homeless people walk in without paying to take soda....avoid!

Rude customer service

The biggest differences is the location stays open till 11pm and doesnt do edd/food stamps..which is a franchise operator's choice...tends to be confused with it's fellow shop in front of the Hyatt

The cashier was rude. I told what kind of chips I wanted with my meal and he told me to calm down👎🏽

Worst service I've ever had at a Subway. Get these guys help - or better yet, fire them. Fully 3O% of customers walked out before being served. NO sense of urgency.
